MBABANE – Faith, service, and a shared sense of purpose will guide Langalethu Charity Organization as it opens its 2026 calendar with a Prayer of Commitment and Dedication aimed at grounding its work in spiritual direction.
The prayer gathering, themed Sihamba neNkhosi (We Walk with the Lord), will take place on Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 09:00am to 1:00pm at Matsapha Weth Ministries Church, opposite Power of Prayer Shops in Sigogweni.
Langalethu Charity Organization, founded on the principle of Helping With Love, continues to support vulnerable members of the community through compassion driven programmes and faith based outreach. The prayer event is intended to commit the organization’s plans, projects, and service work to God as it prepares for another year of community impact.
Speaking ahead of the event, Samkelo Mhlanga said the gathering is about more than the organization itself, but about seeking God’s guidance for the people and communities Langalethu serves.
“We are inviting the community to stand with us in prayer as we commit our work to the Lord,” Mhlanga said. “This moment is about dedicating our vision, our programmes, and every life we touch to God’s direction.”
The event is expected to draw church leaders, community members, partners, and supporters from across Matsapha and surrounding areas. Guest Pastor E Mbingo will lead the main prayer session, supported by Bishop Z Nxumalo and Pastor W Khumalo. Worship will be led by gospel artist Steenkamp (The Musician), while MC Mrs F Dlamini will guide the programme.
The theme scripture for the day is drawn from Proverbs 16 verse 3, which reads: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
Through prayer, worship, and reflection, Langalethu Charity Organization hopes to strengthen its spiritual foundation as it prepares to roll out its 2026 community initiatives and outreach programmes.
Members of the public, partners, and well wishers are encouraged to attend and be part of the meaningful start to the year.
