The country’s CAF Champions League representatives, Nsingizini Hotspurs, are poised for a strong pre-season.
The reigning MTN Premier League champions are set to face South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in their pre-season friendly matches.
The matches will help the green and white ensemble prepare for the preliminary round of the continent’s premier club competitions scheduled to kick off in August.

The Shiselweni-based side President Derrick Shiba confirmed the latest news during his interview with Eswatini Information & Broadcasting Services ( EBIS).
“We are working on a pre-season program that will involve South African giants such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

We are confident that the team will perform well during the continental assignment and locally next season,” he said.
The businessman further revealed that they were currently assessing six players from their development structures.

“We will be promoting six players from our development structures which are under assessment. This is part of the integration of players in our structures,” he said.
The Mandla Thlogi-led side featured in the 2025 CAF Confederation Cup against Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC.
