NAMBOARD, AE TRADE GOUP FORGE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO UNLOCK MEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR ESWATINI FARMERS

BY NOXOLO DLAMINI

MBABANE– The National Agricultural Marketing Board (NAMBoard) has entered into a strategic partnership with the AeTrade Group in a move aimed at transforming Eswatini’s agricultural sector through digital innovation, expanded market access and greater financial inclusion for farmers across the country.

The collaboration is expected to empower farmers by providing them with modern digital solutions that improve the way they market, sell and grow their agricultural businesses. The partnership is built on the shared vision of creating lasting impact for Eswatini’s farming community while strengthening the country’s agricultural value chain.

Through the partnership, farmers will gain wider market access, enabling them to connect with more buyers both locally and internationally. The initiative also seeks to make financing more accessible by introducing affordable financial solutions that support business growth and expansion.

In addition, farmers will benefit from digital payment systems and e-wallet services, allowing for faster, safer and more convenient transactions when selling their produce. Access to real-time market information will also help producers make informed decisions based on current prices and market trends.

The partnership further aims to improve logistics and distribution, ensuring agricultural products reach consumers more efficiently while reducing transportation challenges. It will also create export opportunities by helping farmers meet international standards and access regional and global markets.

Recognising the importance of entrepreneurship in agriculture, the initiative will provide business development support through training and capacity-building programmes designed to strengthen farmers’ skills and grow sustainable agribusinesses.

Ultimately, the collaboration between NAMBoard and the AeTrade Group is expected to contribute to a more resilient, competitive and sustainable agricultural sector, positioning Eswatini’s farmers for long-term success in an increasingly digital global economy.

The partnership reflects a commitment by both organisations to build a future where innovation, technology and collaboration enable Eswatini’s farmers to thrive.
