MBABANE– Minister of Public Works and Transport, Hon. Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe, is set to lead high-level engagements at the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa (SIDSSA) 2026, where leaders, policymakers, investors and industry experts will gather to shape the future of municipal infrastructure.
Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe has been announced as one of the key leaders participating in the SIDSSA26 Leaders Forum, scheduled for 23–25 August 2026 at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.
The forum, held under the theme “Collaborate. Integrate. Sustain. Shaping the Future of Municipal Infrastructure,” will bring together influential figures in infrastructure development to discuss strategies aimed at strengthening sustainable and resilient infrastructure across the region.
His participation places Eswatini among regional stakeholders contributing to discussions on infrastructure planning, investment, innovation and sustainable development.
The Minister’s presence is expected to highlight Eswatini’s infrastructure priorities, including improving transport networks, strengthening public infrastructure delivery and exploring partnerships that support long-term economic growth.
SIDSSA is recognised as a platform that brings together government leaders, municipalities, investors and technical experts to address challenges facing infrastructure development while identifying opportunities for collaboration.
The announcement by Infrastructure South Africa described Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe as joining “South Africa’s foremost leaders, policymakers, investors, and industry experts” at the symposium.
The engagement comes at a time when countries in the region are placing increased focus on sustainable infrastructure as a driver of economic development, improved service delivery and climate resilience.
Through the forum, Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe will represent Eswatini in conversations centred on building infrastructure systems that are inclusive, efficient and capable of supporting future generations.
