Matsapha – The Eswatini National Fire, Rescue and Emergency Service will host its annual Fire Day celebration on Friday, October 24, at Matsapha International Airport. The event brings together the public to focus on fire safety awareness and the work of the country’s emergency personnel.
Chief Fire Officer Luke Lushaba invited residents to witness live demonstrations and learn vital safety skills. The celebration will include the National Fire Service and the Aviation Fire Service showcasing their quick response and rescue capabilities.
Attendees can observe specialized demonstrations, including aircraft fire drills by the aviation unit, and explore a safety exhibition displaying modern equipment, vehicles, and firefighting techniques. Personnel will be on hand to provide practical tips for fire prevention at home and in the workplace.
Formal, traditional attire is encouraged for visitors attending the event.
