Oslo, Norway – Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority, NAMBOARD, and Eswatini Coffee represented the Kingdom at the 14th Nordic-African Business Summit in Oslo, Norway, hosted by the Norway-African Business Association. The summit aims to open trade and investment opportunities in Africa for Norwegian businesses.
During the visit, the Eswatini delegation toured several retail outlets, studying packaging, marketing strategies, and product placement to help local exporters prepare for Nordic markets.
The European Union, in partnership with the International Trade Centre and the Eswatini Government, supported the initiative. Organisers included NABA, Norfund, Africa Finance Corporation, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The summit is recognised as one of Europe’s leading conferences connecting African businesses with investors.
Eva-Maria Engdahl, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Eswatini, said the programme aims to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to compete globally by strengthening value chains, building connections, and opening doors to new markets.
