MBABANE – The local arts scene is buzzing with anticipation as saxophonist Bulelwa Matsebula prepares to join the artistic lineup for the upcoming “Poetry In Style: Dinner In Style Edition.”
Scheduled for February 28, 2026, at the popular Molly’s House of Grills, the event promises a sophisticated fusion of live poetry, soulful music, and live saxophone performances designed to offer a world-class romantic experience.
Matsebula, whose melodic approach is often described as “speaking louder than words,” is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the evening’s atmosphere. When interviewed about his upcoming performance, he shared that attendees can expect a deeply soulful, high-energy saxophone experience that connects straight to the heart. He describes his “soulful sounds” as a smooth blend of jazz, soul, and feel-good grooves, delivered with passion, confidence, and pure joy.
“My performance will enhance the romantic ambience by creating a warm, intimate soundscape that flows effortlessly with the evening,” Matsebula explained. He intends for his soft, soulful sax melodies to set a tone that feels elegant, emotional, and deeply personal—the perfect accompaniment for candlelit tables and meaningful conversations. The artist emphasised that his music will serve as the “heartbeat of the evening,” ensuring the night feels specifically tailored for every couple in attendance.
Looking beyond the February event, Matsebula revealed ambitious plans for the rest of 2026, focusing on growth, purpose, and meaningful impact. His roadmap for the year includes curating two intimate jazz shows that celebrate soulful expression, alongside three gospel performances centered on faith and inspiration. A major milestone for the year will be the official release of his long-recorded album, a project that reflects his artistic maturity.
