15 Emaswati return from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia

MBABANE – Fifteen emaSwati arrived safely in the Kingdom on Wednesday night and Thursday morning after being repatriated from the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The return of the citizens was confirmed on March 12, 2026 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which said the flights were arranged as part of ongoing efforts by government to support citizens working and living abroad.

According to the ministry, the group landed in the country in two phases following coordinated travel arrangements that enabled them to return home from the Gulf region.

Government attributed the successful repatriation to the leadership of His Majesty King Mswati III, whose intervention has played a role in facilitating the safe and timely return of emaSwati facing difficulties while outside the country.

The ministry said the exercise forms part of broader measures to safeguard the welfare of citizens overseas and to ensure those in distress are able to return home when necessary.
