Las Vegas, Nevada.- Visit Santiago, in collaboration with the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Tourism, participated in the IMEX America 2025 trade fair in Las Vegas, Nevada—one of the world’s leading events for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism.
During the fair, Melissa Morales, Project Coordinator for Visit Santiago, conducted over 20 business meetings with representatives from medical associations and incentive travel agencies, highlighting Santiago’s capabilities as a premier host for international events. The event also offered talks and networking opportunities to promote tourism, air connectivity, and the city’s distinctive local experiences. Visitors at the Ministry of Tourism’s stand enjoyed an immersive Visit Santiago experience, showcasing the city’s main attractions through interactive presentations.
As part of its international promotion strategy, Visit Santiago continues to highlight unique experiences such as the Cacao Route, Coffee Route, Tobacco Route, and Rum Route—initiatives that blend culture, local production, and sustainability, strengthening MICE tourism in the northern region of the country.
