Downtown Center reports gas leak, confirms no injuries

Santo Domingo.- Downtown Center reported a gas leak on the morning of Friday, April 17, which was quickly contained after activating emergency and evacuation protocols.

According to the mall’s statement, no injuries or major incidents were reported, as staff and authorities acted promptly to protect visitors, employees, and tenants.

Technical teams are currently conducting inspections to determine the cause of the leak and ensure safe conditions. Management said it will continue to provide updates through official channels as the investigation progresses.
