The son of Saboto Caesar, Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has earned the spot of top performer in the country’s 2025 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA).
“Today, I celebrate not just my son’s exceptional achievement placing first in the nation in the CPEA, but the resilience of an entire generation,” Caesar said on his Facebook page on Saturday hailing the strength of the youth of St Vincent.
“A generation that endured mask-wearing, ashfall, hurricane winds and global uncertainty. Yet through it all, our children continue to stand tall,” he added.
A total of 1,470 students met the prescribed standard, representing 87.34 per cent of test-takers the ministry of education revealed.
Despite the marginal decrease from last year’s performance rate of 87.68 per cent, dropping by 0.34 percentage points, the ministry noted continued strong participation and achievement across genders.
Five of the top 10 ranked students came from the Sugar Mill Academy including the three top positions with Saj Christophe Caesar at number one.
“To Saj, your discipline and courage have made this proud father even prouder. You have shown that with faith, focus, family, and great teachers, excellence is possible,” minister Caesar said.
“Thanks to all who made this journey possible. To God be all the glory. Congratulations again to all the CPEA 2025 students.”
