The ASEAN Committee in Prague (ACP), representing the embassies of ASEAN member states, together with the embassies of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, will host the fifth edition of the ASEAN Plus Three Film Festival (APTFF).
The festival will begin on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Municipal Library of Prague.
Organised in cooperation with the Municipal Library of Prague, the festival will run until September 14 and feature seven full-length films, alongside a curated selection of short films from across the ASEAN Plus Three region.

Since its launch in 2022, the APTFF has introduced Czech audiences to the diverse cultures and cinematic voices of ASEAN and its Plus Three partners.
Previous editions have featured acclaimed films including Escape from Mogadishu (Republic of Korea), Father and Son (Viet Nam) and Yuni (Indonesia).
This year’s programme includes Solata: Friends Are the Family We Choose (Indonesia), Babah (Malaysia), The Beginning (Myanmar), I’m Perfect (the Philippines), 4 Tigers (Thailand), Song of the South (Viet Nam) and One and Only (China).
A selection of short films will also be screened during the opening night on September 7.
The programme includes Mbiyodo/Communal Work (Indonesia), Ninavau (Malaysia), Myanmar Be Enchanted (Myanmar), Lola Loleng/Grandma Loleng (the Philippines), Give to Getters (Thailand), Welcome to Viet Nam (Viet Nam), My Chinese Ecological Notes (China), Pukkulapottas and Hours in the Forest (Japan), and Persona (Republic of Korea).
Beyond its cultural programme, the festival is part of a broader effort by ASEAN and its Plus Three partners to introduce Czech audiences to the region, its societies and creative industries, as well as its shared identity as a community of more than 690 million people.
All screenings are open to the public and free of charge. Films will be shown in their original languages with English and Czech subtitles.
