The body was found in an advanced stage of decomposition, and it appears the victim was murdered on the same night he left his residence.

According to police sources, the perpetrator and the victim met on a bus, with the former claiming that the 22-year-old had insulted him.

Consequently, five days later, according to his confession, he picked up the unfortunate student from Oroklini and took him to Kofinou, where he murdered him and subsequently buried him in a shallow grave.

The scene where the body was found has been cordoned off for forensic examinations.

The victim left the house where he resides with other individuals in Oroklini on June 12th, at 1830, stating that he was heading to a factory in the Kofinou area, where he was supposed to work his first day.

.

On the night of the same day, the 22-year-old sent a message via a mobile phone application containing a specific location to a friend, without any further communication.

Additionally, unknown individuals allegedly contacted the young man’s father and demanded a ransom. Ever since, the student—whose mobile phone signal had been traced to Kofinou—had given no signs of life.
