Pipe fault leaves large area of Limassol without water

The District Local Government Organisation of Limassol (DLGO Limassol) said a fault in a central water supply pipe on Apostolou Varnava Street has cut off water to a large part of the city.

The affected zone, marked 226 in blue on the organisation’s map, is bounded by Nikou Pattichi Avenue to the east, Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue to the north, Agias Sofias and Agiou Orous streets to the west, and Archbishop Makarios III Avenue to the south.

DLGO Limassol said its crews are already on site working to repair the fault, with the work expected to be completed by 5pm on Tuesday, June 16.

The organisation said members of the public seeking further information can contact DLGO Limassol through its website, eoalemesos.org.cy, or by phone on 25271000.
