Cool days with isolated rain in the capital…

By Adrian Fuentes

HAVANA TIMES – A cold front arrived in the western part of the national territory during the afternoon hours of Tuesday. This system moved slowly over the western region and, despite being weakened in its southern portion, maintained abundant cloud cover in Havana since the early morning of the previous day. The presence of this cold front, combined with favorable conditions at mid and upper levels of the atmosphere, encouraged the occurrence of some showers and rainfall in the capital.

Over the next few days, mornings will begin with little cloud cover. By late morning it will be partly cloudy, becoming overcast in the afternoon with some showers, rain, and thunderstorms, mainly toward inland areas. Winds will be predominantly from the northeast at speeds between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour. Relative humidity will range from 55% to 90%. Highs will range between 23 and 26°C (73 to 79°F), and lows between 18 and 21°C (64 to 70°F). Sea surface temperature will be 26°C (79°F).
