Sainsbury’s has yet to confirm the release date for its 2026 Christmas advert, but its previous campaigns could offer a clue.

Sainsbury’s Christmas advert has become a familiar part of the festive countdown, with shoppers eager to see what the supermarket has planned to get the nation into the Christmas spirit. While an official release date for Sainsbury’s 2026 Christmas advert has yet to be confirmed, the supermarket’s previous campaigns offer a clue about when we could see it arrive.

The year before, Sainsbury’s BIG Christmas advert premiered on Friday, November 1, 2024, and also featured the BFG. Based on these previous launch dates, early November could be a good time to keep an eye out for the supermarket’s next festive campaign.
