Louis Reed has reached the 150-appearance milestone for Mansfield Town.
The midfielder has become one of Stags’ most reliable players since his arrival in 2023.
Reed signed from Swindon Town during the January window on an 18-month contract and has continued to commit to the club since, playing a key role in Mansfield’s recent successes.
His arrival at the One Call Stadium marked a poignant move in his career, as he was reunited with the man who awarded him his first senior appearance in football. Nigel Clough gave Reed his debut at Sheffield United when he was just 16 years old.

Reed is a product of the Blades Academy and made a huge splash under Clough when let loose within the senior set-up.
After four years with Sheffield United, he moved to Peterborough United and then Swindon, before his current chapter in amber and blue.
His first full season with Stags ended in their promotion-clinching League Two finish and he missed just one match throughout the entire campaign.

Since climbing up to League One, Stags have only continued to improve and Reed remains a crucial figure in Clough’s plans.
The midfielder captained his side on 23 occasions during Mansfield’s first season back in the third tier, which they survived. The 2025/26 season then brought huge new highs for the club, which Reed also played a big part in.
As well as recording their best league finish in almost 40 years, Stags reached the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1975. Their FA Cup run turned the nation’s heads as they saw off Sheffield United, Burnley and put up a thumping good fight against Arsenal as well.
Reed was imperative in that tournament. Stags would not have progressed as far as they did without his efforts in the FA Cup.
The 29-year-old scored twice in the thrilling 4-3 win over Sheffield United in the third round. His heroics in the fourth will also live long in the memory of Stags fans everywhere.
After Rhys Oates’ goal levelled out Burnley’s first half opener, Reed struck a sensational free-kick in the 80th minute right in front of the travelling supporters. Turf Moor erupted as the goal sent Stags into the fifth round, eliminating a Premier League club in the process of their mouth-watering upset.
The triumph set up the historic clash against Arsenal at the One Call Stadium, which Stags did not bow out of without a fight. It was an admirable effort from every player in amber and blue, and Reed was named captain for the landmark occasion.
Since then, the influential midfielder has further committed himself to Mansfield Town. Reed signed a new one-year deal with Stags earlier this year, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.
