The United States Embassy in Ouagadougou, Public Diplomacy Section is pleased to announce an open competition for organizations to submit innovative proposals that strengthen the partnership between the United States and Burkina Faso. This funding opportunity supports projects that promote shared priorities, including economic growth, security cooperation, American innovation, English language learning, entrepreneurship, and regional stability. Eligible Burkinabè and American organizations are encouraged to propose practical, measurable, and sustainable projects that deliver clear benefits, strengthen mutual prosperity and security, and deepen long-term cooperation between the two countries.
The FY26 Annual Program Statement outlines our funding priorities, the strategic themes we focus on, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding. This notice is subject to availability of funding.

Summary Coversheet: Cover sheet stating the applicant’s name and organization, proposal date, program title, program period proposed start and end date, and brief purpose of the program.
Proposal: (5 pages maximum) The proposal should contain sufficient information such that non-specialists can understand exactly what the applicant intends to do. See the FY26 Annual Program Statement for more details.
