Relentless Entertainment and Academy of Performing Arts will stage Legally Blonde: The Musical, marking the organisations’ 14th musical production and bringing a high-energy theatrical experience to audiences in Brunei.
Presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International, the production features a cast of more than 40 performers, including dancers, singers and actors. Based on the popular film, the musical follows Elle Woods, a bright, ambitious and determined young woman who refuses to let others’ expectations define her.
When her plans take an unexpected turn, Elle embarks on a journey that challenges her to step outside her comfort zone, discover her strengths and pursue her dreams while remaining true to herself.

The production will feature catchy songs, energetic choreography, colourful costumes, comedy and heartfelt moments, offering an entertaining experience for audiences of all ages.
At its core, Legally Blonde explores themes of confidence, friendship, resilience, kindness and self-belief, highlighting the importance of recognising one’s potential and having the courage to pursue one’s goals.
The musical will be staged over three days at the JIS Arts Centre, with performances scheduled for Friday, September 11 at 8pm, Saturday, September 12 at 8pm, and Sunday, September 13 at 1.30pm and 8pm.
Tickets for the free seating zones are priced at $25, $35 and $45. Tickets are available at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf branches at One City, One Riverside and Mata Mata, as well as online through Progresif Events, with seat selection available and booking fees applicable.
