Premier Motor Co. Sdn. Bhd. is giving Bruneians their first look at the all-new Wuling Eksion Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) during its roadshow at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex from July 13 to 19.
Making its exclusive Brunei preview, the seven-seater SUV headlines the exhibition alongside the latest models from Ford and MG, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse range of vehicles, from rugged pick-up trucks and family SUVs to electrified mobility solutions.
A new hybrid SUV for families
Powered by Wuling’s Magic Battery Pro, the Eksion PHEV features a 20.5kWh battery capable of delivering up to 125 kilometres of pure electric driving. Combined with a 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle engine and Wuling’s Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), the vehicle offers a total driving range of more than 1,100 kilometres, allowing drivers to enjoy electric mobility while retaining the convenience of long-distance travel.

Designed with practicality in mind, the SUV offers luggage space of up to 1,788 litres with the rear seats folded, making it suitable for family holidays, outdoor adventures and transporting larger items such as bicycles, golf bags or camping equipment.
Inside, the cabin features a panoramic sunroof that creates a brighter and more spacious atmosphere, while fully independent front and rear suspension delivers enhanced ride comfort, stability and refinement. With 180mm of ground clearance, the Eksion is equally suited for city driving and uneven road conditions.
Technology and safety
The Eksion is equipped with a 12.8-inch high-definition infotainment display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless connectivity, navigation and entertainment.
Passenger comfort is further enhanced through double-layer acoustic glass on the windshield and front side windows, helping reduce outside noise for a quieter cabin experience.

For added convenience, the SUV adopts the CCS2 fast-charging standard, enabling access to Brunei’s public fast-charging infrastructure while reducing charging times during longer journeys.
Safety features include a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist and Automatic Emergency Braking. The vehicle is also fitted with six airbags positioned throughout the cabin to enhance occupant protection.
A 360-degree Surround View Camera assists with parking and manoeuvring, while the Road View Camera provides a view beneath the front of the vehicle, helping drivers navigate uneven roads, ramps and tight spaces with greater confidence.

Alongside the Wuling Eksion PHEV, visitors can also explore the latest Ford models, recognised for their performance and capability, as well as MG’s range of value-driven vehicles with European-inspired driving dynamics.
The public is invited to visit the Premier Motor roadshow at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex until July 19 to explore the complete Ford, MG and Wuling lineup, with the Wuling Eksion PHEV available for public viewing throughout the exhibition.
