BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – NBT Toyota Brunei has proudly concluded the “Highest Mileage Challenge, a nationwide customer celebration that brought together more than 700 passionate Toyota owners across NBT’s Gadong, Beribi and Belait branches.
Far beyond a campaign, this initiative became a celebration of journeys lived — where Toyota owners arrived not just with their vehicles, but with decades of memories, milestones, and meaningful moments built kilometre by kilometre.
Across all three branches, the atmosphere was vibrant as customers proudly displayed their vehicles from different generations, captured photos, swapped stories, and submitted their mileage records — each one representing a journey worth sharing.
One of the highlights of the campaign was a vehicle that recorded close to one million kilometres — a testament to Toyota’s legendary durability, engineering excellence, and long-standing reputation for reliability.
Three weeks, three winners
Over the three-week challenge period, excitement continued to build as a weekly winner emerged. Each week crowned a Top Mileage Champion, who drove away with a B$1,000 cash prize.
Another 10 lucky customers were surprised with rewards, including shopping vouchers worth up to B$B200, adding even more excitement to an already unforgettable challenge.
But beyond the prizes, the real reward was connecting Toyota owners to celebrate the stories and journeys they’ve created.
Voices from the road
Both winners and participants shared their heartfelt reflections on their Toyota ownership experience.

Week 1 Winner: Awang Rozey bin Haji Rosli
“My name is Awang Rozey bin Haji Rosli, I purchased my Toyota Corolla 2.0L Diesel in 2006 and have been driving it for the past 20 years. This year, the odometer has reached an incredible 999,999 kilometres.
“I use the car extensively for work, travelling between Kuala Belait and Brunei-Muara, sometimes making the round trip up to four times a day. Over the years, it has also taken me on long-distance journeys to Kuching, Miri, Sibu, and Bekenu in Sarawak, while also serving as our family car to take my children to school.
“These experiences have reinforced my belief that Toyota vehicles are built to handle long daily journeys reliably. Remarkably, the engine has never required an overhaul, and the manual transmission gearbox continues to perform without issues. The Corolla has become a part of our family’s life, even during neighbourhood power outages, my family and I would sit in the car to enjoy the air-conditioning.
“I am truly grateful to NBT Toyota for chose me as the Week 1 Highest Mileage winner. After two decades behind the wheel, I can confidently say that Toyota is the king of the road.”

Week 2 Winner: Sia Ting Kong
“My name is Sia Ting Kong, I have a Toyota Land Cruiser 75 and it has already reached 989,664km. It is a rare vehicle in Brunei and not easy to find, which makes it even more special to me. I enjoy driving it for work, off-road adventures, and long-distance journeys. One of my personal goals is to challenge myself by driving to Bario.
“I have always been a fan of Toyota 4x4s because they are powerful, reliable, easy to modify, and perform exceptionally well on rough terrain. They are also easy to handle.
“I am also very grateful to Toyota for organising this challenge and hope to see more meaningful activities like this in the future. I love Toyota!”

Week 3 Winner: Mohammad Helmie Danial bin Abdullah Sebi
“My name is Mohammad Helmie Danial bin Abdullah Sebi. I’ve owned my Toyota Fortuner for 16 years and still use it every day for work and family errands. The vehicle reached 999,999km in 2025 and continues to run well with regular maintenance. Spare parts are easy to find, and the maintenance costs remain affordable.
“My advice to fellow Toyota owners is simple: always service your vehicle on time. Thank you, Toyota, for selecting me as the Week 3 winner. Toyota is the best!”
