It is small, undeveloped by resort standards, and known for crystal-clear water, mangroves, and wildlife including rays, flamingos, and pelicans. The ranking, based on volume and quality of global traveler reviews, placed it ahead of established favorites across Asia, Europe, and the wider Caribbean.
