FIFA has fined the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina(BiH) for the third time in the past three months.
This time, the Football Association of BiH was fined 8.500 Swiss francs (around 17.000 BAM) because of the fans at the Cyprus – BiH match (2:2).
The match was played on October 9th this year, and according to the delegate’s report, BiH fans threw objects onto the field and caused damage.
“All associations and clubs are responsible for the inappropriate behavior of one or more of their fans and may be subject to disciplinary measures and instructions, even if they can prove the absence of any negligence in relation to the organization of the match,” states Article 17 of FIFA’s Disciplinary Code, referring to causing damage and throwing objects.
In September, FIFA fined the Football Association of BiH nearly 38.000 BAM due to fan incidents at the match against San Marino in Zenica.
Last month, a fine of 115.000 BAM arrived due to failures at the matches against San Marino away and Austria in Zenica.
