Trump Lashes Out At Female Reporter Asking ‘What’s The Plan?’ In Iran

President Donald Trump antagonized a female reporter who questioned how he plans to end the conflict with Iran at the White House on Tuesday.

“There are no signs that Iran is ready to stop fighting — so, what is the plan? Is the plan to just keep bombing until they give up?” ABC News’ Mary Bruce asked.

Trump replied, “How would you know there are no signs? Why, do you know something I don’t know? You don’t know what the dialogue is behind the scenes, that they want to meet desperately to try to end it, because they’re getting decimated.”

He then chastised Bruce for belonging to what he called a “fake [news] station.”

“You don’t get that when you listen to your fake station, but you don’t know, you don’t know anything,” Trump continued before Bruce asked if peace talks are still possible or likely between Iran and the U.S.

The president asked again, “Do you know something that I don’t know? Do you know something I don’t know?”

“Well, tell us,” Bruce replied.

“I will tell you, they want to desperately meet. And until they’re ready to meet in a meaningful way, we have no interest,” Trump added.

Trump’s remarks came after U.S. Central Command recently renewed airstrikes against Iranian military targets to force the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz amid the collapsed interim deal between Iran and the U.S.

Trump has repeatedly berated and attacked female reporters over the years who have asked him questions or spoken critically of him, including telling a female reporter, “Quiet, piggy in November and storming out of an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker last month.
