MAGA Thoroughly Flips Out Over Anti-Trump Moments At Grammys

Conservatives reacted angrily on Sunday to celebrities who used the Grammy Awards to protest President Donald Trump and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which is carrying out his administration’s hard-line anti-immigration crackdown.

MAGA-aligned commentators and users flooded X, formerly Twitter, with complaints following pointed remarks from host Trevor Noah and artists including Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny and R&B singer Kehlani.

While accepting the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album, Bad Bunny declared: “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say: ICE out. We are not savage. We are not animals. We are not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”

“The hate gets more powerful with more hate,” he added. “The only thing more powerful than hate is love. So please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don’t hate them. We love our people, we love our family, and that’s the way to do it.”

Kehlani said she had originally wanted to wear a pin reading “Fuck ICE” but opted for the more restrained message.

Pins worn by multiple figures that read “ICE Out” were branded by those on the political right as “disgusting,” “pathetic” and “out of touch.”

Right-wing commentator Eric Daugherty called Bad Bunny “trash,” while Fox News personality Tomi Lahren dismissed the protesters as “overpaid musicians and celebrities.”
