Jesse Watters Snidely Attacks James Talarico’s ‘Totally-Not-Fake Girlfriend’

Fox News host Jesse Watters questioned the romantic life of “effeminate” Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, suggesting the Democrat is “gay.” (Watch the video below.)

The “Primetime” personality was in obnoxious prime form Wednesday on “The Five,” calling the lawmaker “Tala-freako” as the panel addressed Talarico’s alleged veganism (he denies it) before zeroing in on his sexuality.

“He’s also 37 and not married,” Watters said. “Let’s get into this. He says, just recently, that he has a girlfriend. And they’ve been together for four years. And he called her his best friend, and she was his rock. And he’s not revealing her identity because he wants to respect her privacy and keep her safe during the campaign.”

“Now, if the campaign has only been going on for less than a year, and they’ve been dating for four years, why haven’t we ever seen this woman before?” Watters continued. “Basically, what I’m saying is, does she exist? We’re gonna find out because, if he wins, are they going to have a coming-out party? Or is she still going to stay the secret girlfriend? And is this totally-not-fake girlfriend also a vegan?”

After an interjection from co-panelist Greg Gutfeld, Watters concluded, “Yes, a gay vegan is definitely gonna win in Texas. Not gay and not vegan, for the record.”

Watters’ wisecracking reinforced what the Republican playbook will look like as Talarico and his scandal-plagued GOP opponent, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, head toward a November showdown.

Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff, fired a ridiculous salvo on Wednesday suggesting that Talarico is transgender.
