The team for Newsom, who has deployed Trump-esque trolling tactics on behalf of the potential Democratic 2028 presidential candidate, responded with a doctored version of the scene.

The edit replaced the robot with one that bore a striking resemblance to the president.

“Introducing the TrumpBot 3000!” the team wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

They added it was “#MadeInCalifornia” — a tongue-in-cheek jab.
