Grenada Tourism Authority – Investment Migration Agency Grenada integrate tourism and investment strategy

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Investment Migration Agency Grenada (IMA) have formalised a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening coordination between Grenada’s tourism promotion and investment migration efforts.

The Memorandum of Understanding, signed on June 17, 2026, establishes an operational framework for cooperation in areas where tourism and investment migration intersect, including destination branding, foreign direct investment, international reputation management, and sustainable development.

Through this framework, both agencies will align their efforts across global outreach, ensuring that Grenada is consistently presented as a destination for travel, residence and long-term investment. This includes coordinated participation in international missions, harmonised messaging and the strategic sharing of market intelligence to inform decision-making.

Stacey Liburd, chief executive officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority, said the partnership reflects a more integrated approach to Grenada’s global positioning.

“This Memorandum of Understanding represents a deliberate move towards a more unified national positioning strategy. Tourism and investment migration both influence how Grenada is experienced and understood globally. By aligning our efforts, we strengthen our ability to present a clear, credible and competitive value proposition that supports sustainable growth and long-term national development.”

Thomas Anthony, chief executive officer of the Investment Migration Agency Grenada, added that the MOU introduces structure and clarity to areas of natural overlap.

“This collaboration provides a defined framework for coordination while maintaining the integrity of each agency’s mandate. As Grenada continues to attract interest from both visitors and investors, this level of alignment ensures that engagement is strategic, consistent and beneficial to the country’s broader economic objectives.”

The Grenada Tourism Authority and the Investment Migration Agency of Grenada will also collaborate on stakeholder engagement and capacity-building initiatives in areas such as international marketing, investor relations, compliance awareness and reputational risk management.

By formalising this partnership, Grenada advances a more coordinated model of destination development, where tourism promotion and investment engagement operate as complementary drivers of visibility, confidence and long-term economic resilience.
