Fans have turned out in force to catch a glimpse of Australian stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi at the premiere of Wuthering Heights in Sydney.
The two are in town to promote the new movie based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel, originally published in 1847 under the pen name Ellis Bell.

Wuthering Heights has opened in cinemas across the country.
The story follows the passionate and tumultuous love story of Catherine (Robbie) and Heathcliff (Elordi).
Robbie admits it isn’t a relationship to aspire to.
“It’s not couple goals,” Robbie told ABC News.
“[There are] a lot of red flags in their relationship for sure.
“But I think there is something both extremely wretched and very sweet about their relationship.
“It’s a very sadomasochistic relationship.”

Elordi believes it’s important to show all types of relationships in art because the reality is that relationships can be difficult.
“It’s not all rainbows and sunshine and beautiful things and I think it’s actually quite dangerous to present it that way in music and in art,” Elordi said.
“I think it’s kind of a lie to present it that way.
“Love is this multi-faceted thing.
“It’s beautiful and it’s awful … and so I think we need to teach everyone about all the different colours.”
Also at the premiere were Wuthering Heights producer Josey McNamara, fellow Australian Hollywood star Sarah Snook, American model Hailey Bieber, Welsh actor Taron Egerton, and a host of local celebrities and influencers.
