Calvin Ayre Foundation Invests EC$84,132 as Platinum Sponsor of National Swim Team for OECS Championships
The Calvin Ayre Foundation (CAF) has deepened its commitment to youth and sports development, by supporting the Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation (ABSF) with an EC$84,132 Platinum sponsorship, for the upcoming 33rd OECS Swimming Championships, scheduled for 7th – 9th November 2025 in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
This regional championship brings together young athletes from across the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to compete at the highest level, fostering not only elite performance but also regional unity and national pride.
Through this major sponsorship, CAF covered round-trip airfare and accommodation for Antigua and Barbuda’s 39-member delegation, ensuring the team is well positioned, supported, and focused as it prepares to defend its reigning championship title.

President of the Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation, Edith Clashing, expressed her deepest gratitude to the Calvin Ayre Foundation, noting that this marks the first time a private sponsor has come forward with such a significant level of support.
The sponsorship is part of the Foundation’s wider mission to strengthen community development and opportunities for youth through sport, access, and equity.
The athletes, parents and executives of the National Swimming Federation departed Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday, November 06th.
