ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Saturday went to the dogs and cats as Albuquerque’s Animal Welfare Department held its House of Pets, All Must Choose adoption extravaganza at both their east and west side shelters. The event was themed House of Dragons and is the sequel to Animal Welfare’s earlier adoption event, “Game of Homes.”
Animal Humane New Mexico helps pet owners in crisis by providing free boarding to animals
All adoptions include a spay or neuter, a pet tag, microchip, vaccinations, and one free initial vet visit. For adopted dogs, they’ll get one session of free dog training. Now, if you can’t adopt, they are always in need of fosters and volunteers.
