JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — After abruptly closing on May 9, Patmos Library in Jamestown Township says it will reopen after Memorial Day weekend.

The library had announced that it was temporarily closing after most of its staff had unexpectedly resigned.

A special meeting was held on May 19 by the library’s board to discuss staffing, according to their website. Patmos previously stated that its primary goal was to be prepared for the summer reading program.

The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Tuesday. The full schedule can be viewed on their website.
