Justice J. Sreenivas Rao of Telangana High Court issued notices to the Principal Secretary (Home), Cyberabad Police commissioner, three other police officers and three private persons in a writ petition filed by YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Y.V. Subba Reddy’s wife Y. Swarnalatha Reddy.

The 62-year-old petitioner stated that the police authorities and three private persons were interfering with her property of 2.08 acres land in Kondapur, Serilingampally on Hyderabad outskirts. The judge also directed the Cyberabad Police commissioner and other police officers to consider the representations given by the petitioner and the three private persons over the said land.

The authorities should pass appropriate orders in accordance with the law within two weeks, the judge said. The matter was posted to June 23 for next hearing.
