Rain comes to an end, chilly for a while

The average high for early November in Lincoln is in the upper 50s, but we’ll be below that for a while. We do warm back up by the weekend.

Rainfall totals over the last 48 hours (as of Tuesday evening) is most significant just northeast of Grand Island.

Because of the heavy rain, a Flood Warning is in place for Nance, Merrick, Hamilton, York, Polk, and the northern edges of Fillmore and Clay counties through Wednesday.

As we head through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the wind will start to die down a bit.

We won’t warm up on Wednesday, though. Highs will struggle to get into the 50s for much of the state.

Cloud cover will be around for a good portion of the day. If we see any clearing, it would be later in the day.
