The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church has donated roofing sheets to the Mt. Hagen School of Nursing in the Western Highlands Province to support its ongoing infrastructure development.

The Adventist Christians of the Central South Nebilyer District, through their community service initiative, donated 29 12-foot roofing iron sheets to the new nursing school today.

The church members funded the purchase out of their own pockets from Atlas Steel Hardware in Mt. Hagen.

This marks the second major contribution from the group, who run periodic community service programs.

During an initial visit, the members donated fresh garden food to the campus. After noticing that the school was still in the middle of crucial infrastructure development, they decided to pool their resources once again to purchase and donate the building materials.

The school administration, staff, and students gave the church members a rousing welcome to show their deep appreciation.

School officials thanked the Christians for their timely donation, stating that the gesture reflected divine wisdom and would leave a lasting legacy.

They noted that because the school started from scratch, ongoing assistance is vital as infrastructure development continues on campus.

The small but significant handover ceremony comes at a crucial time, as the school prepares for its official opening on November 19, 2026.
