Vijay Sethupathi’s new movie Baththa is a Tamil action comedy drama that received praise from audiences, but the box-office collections are not as encouraging. The film has now locked its OTT release date.
Netflix, the official streaming partner of Baththa, will premiere the film on October 29, 2026, in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. The movie is expected to get more attention with its OTT release, as it will be available in multiple languages. How well it performs on Netflix remains to be seen.
Murad Khetani, Atlee, Priya Atlee, Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare produced the movie, while Sai Abhyankkar composed the music. Master Sai Prithviraj received a lot of appreciation for his performance. The cast also includes Lijomol Jose, Santhy Balachandran, Baby Sahasra Shree and others.
