Jamia Registrar Blames Congress MPs Over Campus Stir, Online Classes Implemented Amid Protests

Jamia Millia Islamia Registrar Mahtab Alam Rizvi has accused Congress MPs Imran Pratapgarhi and Imran Masood of illegally entering the university campus and provoking students who have been staging a hunger strike over the restoration of student union elections. Speaking on the ongoing stir, the university administration stated that police complaints have been lodged against outside political leaders for breaching campus security. While university officials stated that draft preparation for elections is in progress to restore peace, protesting students have accused the administration of high-handedness. Following rising tensions, the administration has moved all regular courses and classes to online mode.
