GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – October 26 through 30, 2026, is Winter Weather Awareness Week in North Dakota. More information on the topics for the week is available here. This link is also headlined on our webpage, weather.gov/fgf. We’d ask that you use the information available to help spread the word!

Monday: Stay Informed with the NWS!

Tuesday: Be Prepared When Outdoors!

Wednesday: Stay Safe and Healthy this Winter!

Thursday: Be Vigilant to Indoor Dangers!

Friday: Travel Safe this Winter!

Find specific hazard information and infographics to use at weather.gov/safety, at the bottom of the page in the “Materials For Use” section under each weather type.

State agencies will be using these intros and outros for a “snowball fight” and we wanted to share those so that you can use them for reels / etc if you’d like!

The NDDOT has some snowplow b roll in case you have a need for that. There’s also a general asset bank with additional resources.
