PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was arrested after being accused of shooting and injuring a man in Gresham on Thursday.

According to the Gresham Police Department, reports came in late afternoon that multiple shots were fired near Northeast 181st Avenue and Northeast Pacific Court. Officers arrived and a man was fleeing the area. He was later located and found with an injury.

Police said the injured man was involved in the disturbance. According to investigators, “It was determined the female was the suspect in the case and shot the male subject.”

The man sustained a non-life-threatening graze wound from the bullet.

“Officers took the female into custody and provided medical attention to the male,” a Gresham police spokesperson said.
