What’s in store for ‘Survivor’ season 51, episode 5?
In “Not Here to Get a Pedicure,” two of the three tribes will have to attend Tribal Council after the Immunity Challenge, according to a Rotten Tomatoes synopsis. Another player receives an advantage that has never appeared on the show before, continuing season 51’s Open Era theme. The night culminates with two Tribal Councils featuring tears and the teased “shocking standoff.”
Spoiler: What happened on ‘Survivor’ Season 51, episode 4?
Episode 4, “That’s the Magic of Survivor,” upended the game by transforming two tribes into three.
The episode began with old Toka still dealing with the fallout from Patt Cannaday’s 6-5 blindside in episode 3. But the contestants soon received an unexpected summons, gathering everyone together before Jeff Probst revealed a tribe swap. Because Rob Antonson had voluntarily left the game a week earlier, the swap created two tribes of six and a smaller tribe of five.
That smaller Savu group consisted of Alexis Levine, Devin Way, Angelica “Jelly” Loblack, Jenna Doore, and Ori Jean-Charles. Jenna’s apparent original-tribe numbers proved deceptive because Devin, Jelly and Ori already had a cross-tribe connection.
When Savu lost immunity and went to Tribal Council, Jenna tried to turn the target toward Alexis. It didn’t work.
Jenna was eliminated 4-1, with Alexis, Devin, Jelly and Ori voting for her while Jenna cast her vote against Alexis.
