BELLEVUE, Neb. (KLKN) — On Oct. 19, the City of Bellevue announced that the park bathrooms will be closing early due to vandalism.
The City said the vandalism includes damage and graffiti at the restrooms in multiple Bellevue City parks.
The park bathrooms often stay open through the end of October. Now, the City’s Facilities Maintenance Department made the decision to close early so crews can make necessary repairs.
The City parks will remain closed until next spring.
The City said they encourage residents to report any suspicious activity to the Bellevue Police Department to protect the public parks.
