Bandung, IO – PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (IDX: HRTA) announced that PT Terang Anugrah Abadi, a company controlled by Ferriyady Hartadinata, HRTA’s ultimate controlling shareholder and President Commissioner, has purchased 4.35 million HRTA shares since October 16, 2026. The move reflects Ferriyady’s long-term confidence in the company’s fundamentals, the outlook for Indonesia’s gold industry, and the resilience of the national economy.
The purchases come amid significant selling pressure in the domestic stock market following investor concerns over the potential reclassification of Indonesia by MSCI as a Standalone Market. Despite the uncertainty, Ferriyady has demonstrated his optimism about HRTA’s long-term prospects by increasing his shareholding.
“I am confident in Indonesia’s economic fundamentals and HRTA’s long-term prospects. Amid market volatility, I chose to demonstrate that confidence through real action. As a domestic entrepreneur, I believe the spirit of Merah Putih must be reflected in investment, the strengthening of local industries, and sustained contributions to Indonesia’s economy,” Ferriyady, HRTA’s President Commissioner, said.

In line with this commitment, HRTA continues to support the downstream development of Indonesia’s gold industry through manufacturing and exporting high-value finished gold jewelry. These activities create jobs, enhance the competitiveness of domestic industries, and generate foreign exchange earnings.
In the domestic market, HRTA strengthens Indonesia’s bullion banking ecosystem by partnering with PT Pegadaian, PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI), and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, to expand access to gold investments, strengthen bullion distribution, and develop an integrated national gold industry.
By strengthening its supply chain, expanding export markets, and building strategic partnerships with financial institutions, HRTA believes in sustaining growth while creating added value for shareholders and Indonesia’s economy. (eka)
