NEW YORK — Hye House, the New York-based Armenian American events brand, will host its largest party to date on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at Melrose Ballroom in Astoria, Queens. The event, titled “Hye House Presents: Middle East River,” is a club night hosted by Armenians and open to the greater Middle Eastern and SWANA diaspora. The event is intended for young people interested in Armenian and Middle Eastern dance music. Tickets are on sale, with 400 tickets already sold.
The all-Armenian DJ lineup is headlined by NANOR, the Lebanese Armenian DJ and producer who recently opened for Hugel at Space Riccione, a 7,000-person venue in Italy. J. Hamilton, an Armenian DJ, provides direct support, and NABLER, who is Armenian and Greek, closes the night. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the music runs until 3 a.m.
The name “Middle East River” is a nod to two things at once: the Middle East, where the community’s roots are, and the East River, which the venue sits beside. “This is our heritage and our city in one name,” said Ara Bilazarian, founder of Hye House. “We wanted a night that feels like home for Armenians and that also welcomes Lebanese, Persian, Greek, Arab and every other diaspora kid who grew up with the same music and the same shared cultural experiences and traditions.”
Hye House launched in October 2025. In its first year, the brand has sold out all seven of its events, hosting more than 1,700 guests across New York and Boston. Its most recent New York show sold all 650 tickets at SILO Brooklyn’s in under 48 hours. Melrose Ballroom is the brand’s largest venue to date. Early-bird, first-release and second-release tickets have already sold out, with 400 tickets sold to the Armenian New York community.
