Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected with 19 seconds to play in the first half of a Sunday matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.
Following a third-down play on which the Bills were flagged for defensive holding, Gardner-Johnson jawed with Raiders tight end Brock Bowers — drawing a flag and subsequent ejection. Replays on CBS showed Gardner-Johnson seemingly spitting in the direction of Bowers and center Tyler Linderbaum.
Las Vegas concluded the drive with a field goal for a 13-13 halftime tie.
