addressed cooperation between Peru and Venezuela on migration issues during a phone call with Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez.

This information was disclosed through the Head of State’s official account on X.

“I had a phone call with Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez to address cooperation between our countries, begin providing support for her Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) plan, and coordinate the processes for expelling undocumented Venezuelan nationals from Peru,” the post stated.

It also indicated that the foreign affairs ministers of both countries “are already coordinating the necessary protocols to carry out these processes by air, in an orderly and safe manner.”

“I thanked the Venezuelan Government for its willingness to cooperate with Peru,” the post added.
