Thadingyut market fair is advertised

FDA-certified local oil mills will host a three-day Thadingyut market fair, according to the Myanmar Edible Oil Millers’ Association (MEOMA).

The special market fair will take place from 20 to 22 October in Lanmadaw Township’s Min Yel Kyaw Swar Street and Yankin Township’s Yanshin Street.

At the event, groundnut oil, sesame oil and sunflower oil manufactured by local edible oil mills will be sold, under the MEOMA’s management.

At present, there are more than 9.3million acres of edible oil crops such as groundnut, sesame, sunflower, mustard, palm oil and soybean in Myanmar and about 1.15million tonnes of edible oil are produced, according to official figures released by region or state governments.
