Argentine citizen dies in motorcycle crash in Punta Cana

La Altagracia.- An Argentine man identified as 30-year-old Roberto Farías García died in a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a truck on the Frank Rainieri Tourist Boulevard in La Altagracia province.

The crash occurred near the Domingo Maíz intersection in the Verón-Punta Cana area. According to local media reports, Farías García allegedly braked suddenly, fell onto the road and was subsequently run over by the truck.

However, that account has not been confirmed by an official report made public by authorities.

According to Bávaro News, relatives said Farías García was traveling in his lane while on his way to deliver a job when the truck allegedly made a maneuver that led to the collision. Witnesses cited by the outlet said the truck continued driving after the crash.

The victim’s relatives are calling on authorities to identify the truck driver and take legal action in connection with the fatal accident.
