Tajikistan and Moldova hold consular consultations
AKIPRESS.COM – Tajikistan and Moldova held consular consultations in Chisinau on September 29. The consultations were led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Farrukh Khomiddin Sharifzoda and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Corina Călugăru, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reported.
The sides discussed key issues of consular cooperation, including the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the two countries, strengthening cooperation between consular structures and the exchange of practical experience.
The parties also reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, with particular attention to strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, and expanding cooperation within international organizations.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue regular dialogue, strengthen consular cooperation, and implement the agreements reached.
