Sirte – The mayor of Sirte, Mokhtar Al-Madani, members of the municipal council, and several local officials inspected progress on the new administrative headquarters for the municipality. The group reviewed construction phases and engineering work at the site. The project features a modern architectural design tailored to the city’s character and location. Officials emphasized that the new headquarters will improve the working environment and provide suitable space for municipal operations.

The project was initiated following instructions from Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar. It is being supervised by the National Development Agency’s Director General, Mahmoud Al-Fergani, and executed by a local contractor. The new headquarters is one of several development and strategic projects underway in Sirte across various service sectors.

Located on the city’s seafront, the building is designed to be architecturally symbolic. It includes several floors, offices, and administrative facilities, offering an integrated workspace for the municipality’s needs. Project managers stated that significant progress has been made, with construction continuing according to schedule and set plans. The inspection aimed to monitor the completion rate, address technical or administrative notes, and ensure the project advances according to standards, so the building can be operational on time.
