As part of the efforts of the Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB) to implement the provisions of the Investment Promotion Law,

The Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB) reported yesterday that its Executive Director held an expanded meeting with the Investment Passports Department, in the presence of the Director of the One-Stop Shop Department and the Director of the Inspection and Follow-up Office, to discuss mechanisms for improving the working environment and facilitating investors’ procedures and mobility.

Creating a conducive and attractive investment environment for capital
The meeting discussed ways to simplify administrative procedures and expedite the processing of transactions, in line with the objectives of the Law in creating a conducive and attractive investment environment for investment capital.

The meeting resulted in an agreement to prepare an integrated proposal to regulate the mechanism for granting approvals for investment projects and issuing visas through the electronic visa platform (E-Visa)

The PIB said this step forms part of its efforts to enhance the efficiency of its digital services and reduce the time required to complete procedures, thereby supporting the implementation of investment projects on the ground and contributing directly to advancing economic development.
